A1--0 to 8 cm; brown (10YR 4/3) sandy loam, very dark grayish brown (10YR 3/2) moist; weak fine subangular blocky structure parting to weak fine granular; soft, very friable, nonsticky and slightly plastic; common very fine and fine and few medium roots; few fine tubular pores; 5 percent gravel; neutral (pH 6.8); clear wavy boundary.
A2--8 to 25 cm; dark brown (10YR 3/3) sandy loam, very dark grayish brown (10YR 3/2) moist; weak medium and fine subangular blocky structure; soft, very friable, nonsticky and slightly plastic; common very fine and fine and few medium roots; few very fine tubular pores; 5 percent gravel; neutral (pH 6.8); abrupt wavy boundary.
Bw1--25 to 48 cm; light yellowish brown (10YR 6/4) sandy loam, brown (10YR 4/3) moist; moderate medium subangular blocky structure parting to weak fine subangular blocky; soft, friable, nonsticky and slightly plastic; few very fine, fine, and medium roots; few very fine tubular pores; 10 percent gravel; neutral (pH 7.2); clear wavy boundary.
Bw2--48 to 75 cm; yellowish brown (10YR 5/4) gravelly coarse sandy loam, brown (10YR 4/3) moist; moderate medium subangular blocky structure parting to weak fine subangular blocky; soft, very friable, nonsticky and slightly plastic; few very fine and fine roots; few fine tubular pores; 15 percent gravel; slightly alkaline (pH 7.4); clear wavy boundary.
2CB--75 to 107 cm; light yellowish brown (10YR 6/4) gravelly sand, 70 percent black (7.5YR 2.5/1) and 30 percent dark brown (10YR 3/3) moist; weak fine subangular blocky structure; soft, very friable, nonsticky and nonplastic; few very fine, fine, and medium roots; few very fine tubular pores; 15 percent gravel; slightly alkaline (pH 7.4); gradual wavy boundary.
2C1--107 to 135 cm; grayish brown (10YR 5/2) gravelly sand, 60 percent black (7.5YR 2.5/1) and 40 percent dark brown (10YR 3/3) moist; single grain; loose, nonsticky and nonplastic; many fine interstitial pores; 20 percent gravel and 5 percent cobbles; slightly alkaline (pH 7.6); clear smooth boundary.
2C2--135 to 150 cm; grayish brown (10YR 5/2) very gravelly sand, 60 percent black (7.5YR 2.5/1) and 40 percent dark brown (10YR 3/3) moist; single grain; loose, nonsticky and nonplastic; many fine interstitial pores; 30 percent gravel and 15 percent cobbles; slightly alkaline (pH 7.6).
