Bk1--8 to 25 centimeters; yellowish brown (10YR 5/4) sandy clay loam, brown (10YR 4/3) moist; moderate fine subangular blocky structure; soft, very friable, nonsticky, nonplastic; common very fine, fine, and few medium roots throughout; many very fine, fine, and common medium interstitial pores; 8 percent gravels; 10 percent medium calcium carbonate concretions around rock fragments; strongly effervescent; moderately alkaline (pH 8.2); clear wavy boundary.

Distribution and Extent:
Fourteenmile soils are of small extent in southwestern Wyoming; MLRA 34A.
