TYPICAL PEDON: Iiguk silt loam on a west facing convex, convex summit on a slope of 8 percent at an elevation of 237 m (The soil was moist throughout the profile when described on June 28, 2016.)
Oa--0 to 7 cm; highly decomposed plant material, brown (7.5YR 4/2) dry, very dark brown (7.5YR 2.5/2) moist; common very fine and fine roots; very strongly acid (pH 4.6); clear wavy boundary
A--7 to 15 cm; very gravelly silt loam, brown (7.5YR 4/3) dry, very dark brown (7.5YR 2.5/3) moist; weak medium subangular blocky parts to moderate fine granular structure; very friable; common very fine, fine, and medium roots; few fine irregular pores; 5 percent cobbles, 10 percent channers, 20 percent gravel; very strongly acid (pH 4.8); clear wavy boundary
