A1--0 to 2 centimeters; pale yellow (2.5Y 7/3) loam, light olive brown (2.5Y 5/4) moist; moderate thick platy structure; slightly hard, friable, slightly sticky, slightly plastic; few fine roots; few fine vesicular pores; 5 percent channers; slightly effervescent; moderately alkaline (pH 8.2); clear smooth boundary.
A2--2 to 8 centimeters; light yellowish brown (2.5Y 6/4) clay loam, light olive brown (2.5Y 5/4) moist; moderate fine granular structure; slightly hard, friable, moderately sticky, moderately plastic; common fine and medium, few coarse roots throughout; common fine irregular pores; 5 percent calcium carbonate masses on bottom of rock fragments; 5 percent channers; slightly effervescent; moderately alkaline (pH 8.2); clear smooth boundary.
Bk--8 to 30 centimeters; light yellowish brown (2.5Y 6/4) silty clay loam, light olive brown (2.5Y 5/4) moist; moderate fine subangular blocky structure; moderately hard, firm, moderately sticky, moderately plastic; few fine, medium and coarse roots throughout; common fine tubular pores; 10 percent calcium carbonate masses on bottom of rock fragments, 3 percent calcium carbonate masses in the matrix; 10 percent channers; slightly effervescent; moderately alkaline (pH 8.4); clear smooth boundary.
C--30 to 56 centimeters; pale yellow (2.5Y 7/3) silty clay loam, light olive brown (2.5Y 5/4) moist; massive; hard, very firm, moderately sticky, moderately plastic; 2 percent calcium carbonate masses in the matrix; slightly effervescent; strongly alkaline (pH 8.6); clear smooth boundary.

USE AND VEGETATION:
Mullencamp soils are primarily used for rangeland. The potential native vegetation is Gardner's saltbush, bottlebrush squirreltail, and Indian ricegrass, and bud sagebrush.
DISTRIBUTION AND EXTENT:
Mullencamp soils are of small extent in southwestern Wyoming; MLRA 34A.
