Oi1--0 to 70 cm; peat, pale brown (10YR 6/3) dry, brown (10YR 4/3) moist; many very fine and fine and common medium roots; strongly acid (pH 5.3); diffuse wavy boundary

Oi2--120 to 160 cm; peat, light yellowish brown (10YR 6/4) dry, dark yellowish brown (10YR 4/4) moist; moderately acid (pH 5.7); diffuse smooth boundary
