TYPICAL PEDON: Sussaymin mucky peat on a woodland terrace with a slope of 0 percent and an elevation of 105 m (The soil was wet throughout when described on August 25, 2015.)
Oe1--0 to 15 cm; mucky peat; many very fine roots, common fine and medium roots; extremely acid (pH 4.0); abrupt wavy boundary
Oa1/Oe2--15 to 34 cm; mucky peat and muck; common very fine and fine roots; extremely acid (pH 3.8); clear wavy boundary
Oa2--34 to 60 cm; muck; extremely acid (pH 3.5); clear wavy boundary
Oef--60 to 100 cm; permanently frozen mucky peat; very firm; extremely acid (pH 4.3)
