Bw1--28 to 53 cm; very cobbly loam, dark yellowish brown (10YR 4/4) dry, dark brown (7.5YR 3/2) moist; weak medium subangular blocky structure; slightly hard, friable, slightly sticky and slightly plastic; common coarse and many fine roots; 30 percent gravel and 20 percent cobbles; neutral (pH 6.6); clear irregular boundary

Bw2--53 to 99 cm; extremely cobbly loam, dark yellowish brown (10YR 4/4) dry, dark brown (7.5YR 3/4) moist; moderate medium subangular blocky structure; slightly hard, friable, slightly sticky and moderately plastic; common coarse and many fine roots; 35 percent gravel and 35 percent cobbles; neutral (pH 6.6); clear wavy boundary
