(3 to 6 inches thick)

Btn2--14 to 21 inches; dark grayish brown (10YR 4/2) cobbly sandy clay loam, grayish brown (10YR 5/2) dry; moderate medium subangular blocky structure; slightly hard, firm, slightly sticky and moderately plastic; common very fine and fine roots; common very fine tubular pores; common distinct clay films on faces of peds; 15 percent cobbles and 10 percent pebbles; very strongly alkaline (pH 9.6); clear smooth boundary. (2 to 8 inches thick)

Cn1--21 to 34 inches; dark grayish brown (10YR 4/2) gravelly sandy loam, grayish brown (10YR 5/2) dry, massive; slightly hard, firm, slightly sticky and slightly plastic; common very fine and fine roots; common fine and medium tubular pores; 5 percent cobbles and 10 percent pebbles; very strongly alkaline (pH 9.6); gradual smooth boundary. (12 to 16 inches thick)

Cn2--34 to 44 inches; brown (10YR 5/3) sandy loam, pale brown (10YR 6/3) dry; massive; slightly hard, firm, slightly sticky and slightly plastic; few very fine roots; few very fine tubular pores; slightly effervescent; very strongly alkaline (pH 9.6); gradual smooth boundary. (4 to 11 inches thick)

2Cn3--44 to 60 inches; brown (10YR 5/3) very cobbly loamy sand, pale brown (10YR 6/3) dry; single grain; loose, nonsticky and nonplastic; 20 percent cobbles, 30 percent pebbles; very strongly alkaline (pH 9.6).
