COMPETING SERIES: These are the Calladito, Curtis Siding, Dwyer, Mido, Orpha, Pensom, Pinavetes, Tullock, Valent, and Wigton series. The Calladito soils have average annual precipitation less than 11 inches. The Curtis Siding soils are somewhat excessively drained. Dwyer, Mido, Orpha, Pinavetes, Valent, and Wigton soils have less than 15 percent coarse fragments in the particle size control section. Penson and Tullock have bedrock at depths of less than 60 inches.
