C1--25 to 64 cm; fine sandy loam, brown (10YR 5/3) dry, dark brown (10YR 3/3) moist; massive; soft, very friable, nonsticky and nonplastic; few medium roots; slightly alkaline (pH 7.6); abrupt wavy boundary

TYPE LOCATION: Yakima County, Washington, about 9.5 km southeast of Moxee; about 210 m west and 30 m north of the southeast corner of section 13, T. 12 N., R. 20 E., Willamette Meridian
