BURLESON SERIES
The Burleson series consists of very deep to clayey alluvium, moderately well drained soils that formed in calcareous clayey alluvium of Pleistocene age derived from mixed sources. These nearly level to gently sloping soils are on treads of Pleistocene stream terraces. Slope ranges from 0 to 5 percent. Mean annual precipitation is about 940 mm (37 in) and the mean annual air temperature is about 20 degrees C (68 degrees F).
