TYPICAL PEDON: Springcamp silt loam on a west northwest facing linear, concave backslope, on a slope of 28 percent at an elevation of 113 m (The soil was moist from 0 to 35 cm and 41 to 150 cm, and wet, non-satiated, from 35 to 41 cm when described on July 19, 2016.)

Oe--0 to 3 cm; moderately decomposed plant material, dark gray (7.5YR 4/1) dry, black (7.5YR 2.5/1) moist; nonsticky, nonplastic; many very fine and common fine and medium roots; very strongly acid (pH 4.8); clear smooth boundary
