C2--13 to 30 cm; sand, light gray (5Y 7/1) dry, gray (5Y 5/1) moist; massive; soft, very friable, nonsticky and nonplastic; common very fine and medium roots throughout; common very fine and fine interstitial pores; slightly alkaline (pH 7.6); diffuse irregular boundary

Cg--30 to 150 cm; sand, dark gray (2.5Y 4/1) dry, very dark gray (N 3/0) moist; massive; soft, very friable, nonsticky and nonplastic; common fine and medium roots throughout; few fine interstitial pores; slightly alkaline (pH 7.7)
