C2--18 to 22 cm; sand, pale yellow (5Y 7/3) dry, olive (5Y 5/3) moist; single grain; loose, nonsticky and nonplastic; common fine roots throughout; common very fine and fine interstitial pores; strongly effervescent (HCL, 1N); moderately alkaline (pH 8.3); diffuse smooth boundary
C3--22 to 130 cm; sand, pale yellow (5Y 7/3) dry, olive (5Y 5/3) moist; massive; loose, nonsticky and nonplastic; common fine roots throughout; common very fine and fine interstitial pores; strongly effervescent (HCL, 1N); moderately alkaline (pH 8.3); diffuse smooth boundary
