Bw--7 to 32 cm; loam, light olive brown (2.5Y 5/3) dry, dark olive brown (2.5Y 3/3) moist; moderate fine subangular blocky structure; slightly hard, friable, slightly sticky and slightly plastic; common very fine, fine, medium, and coarse roots; common very fine and fine irregular pores; strongly acid (pH 5.5); clear smooth boundary

C--32 to 48 cm; silt loam, pale yellow (2.5Y 8/3) dry, light yellowish brown (2.5Y 6/3) moist; moderate medium subangular blocky structure; moderately hard, firm, slightly sticky and slightly plastic; common medium and fine roots; common very fine and fine irregular pores; moderately acid (pH 5.6); clear smooth boundary

2C1--48 to 120 cm; variegated sand; massive; soft, very friable, nonsticky and nonplastic; few very fine and fine irregular pores; 5 percent gravel; strongly effervescent; strongly alkaline (pH 8.5); gradual wavy boundary

2C2--120 to 150 cm; variegated gravelly sand; single grain; loose, nonsticky and nonplastic; few very fine irregular pores; 25 percent gravel; violently effervescent; strongly alkaline (pH 8.6)
