Oe--14 to 26 cm; mucky peat; slightly acid (pH 6.4); abrupt smooth boundary

Cg1--26 to 70 cm; loam, dark gray (5Y 4/1) dry, dark gray (N 4/0) moist; massive; soft, very friable, slightly sticky and nonplastic; common medium and fine roots; few fine and very fine interstitial pores; neutral (pH 7.3); diffuse smooth boundary

Cg2--70 to 150 cm; very fine sandy loam, dark gray (5Y 4/1) dry, gray (N 5/0) moist; single grain; loose, nonsticky and nonplastic; very slightly effervescent (HCL, 1N); moderately alkaline (pH 8.1)
